Site Detail | This location is right beside the island harbor's entrance. The top reef is 6 meters deep and drops down to depths of 30 meters and beyond. Fishermen have dumped their waste fish in the nearby seas ever since the Harbor's construction in 2004. As a result, a sizable population of inquisitive Tiger Sharks approach to feed. There are up to 5 to 10 individual sharks when activity is at its highest. Along with the enormous Tiger Sharks, the area is also home to large Giant Trevallies, Snappers, Rainbow runners, silver tip reef sharks, and many other species. Before diving, divers will receive a thorough safety training on shark behavior, group dynamics, and emergency procedures. |
